Water Advisory Lifted
As of May 2, 2017 The Elloree Water System has lifted their boil water advisory. Customers of the Elloree Water System no longer have to boil their water prior to drinking or cooking following the main line break on April 25, 2017.
Welcome to the Elloree Water System’s virtual home. We welcome all existing and new customers to our page, where you can find information on our water and sewer service, rates, and service fees, as well as information on the Water System’s officials and staff.
The Elloree Water System is governed by three Water Commissioners, all of whom are elected by the voters of Elloree for six-year terms. Our current Commissioners are Chairman Jane C. Singh, William G. “Bill” Irick Jr., and Hugh McLaurin IV.
Water Commission meetings are open to the public and are held in the Water System meeting room on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm.
Technicians for the Elloree Water System are Mannie Barnes, Chris Finch and Trey Ward.
Our office is staffed by System Administrator Cole Dantzler and Office Clerk Brenda Manley. The office is located at 2623 Cleveland Street. The office is open on Mondays- Fridays 8:00-5:00 closed from 12:00-1:00 daily for lunch.
The Elloree Water System is a member of the Rural Water Environment Association.
Congratulations to Commission Chairman Jane Singh, who was named the "Commissioner of the Year" by the Rural Water Association. She was nominated by General Manager Larry McDowell and was selected because of her dedication to the Water System and its customers.
