4A. Karen Doggett, EBA Events Update
5. Police Department Report and Update.
6. Clerk’s Report / Clerk of Court Report.
7. Old Business: Special Election March 31, 2026 for District 3 Councilmember.
8. New Business: Safebuilt to present to council regarding code and ordinance enforcement.
9. Executive Session:
The Mayor and Council will receive legal advice in pending litigation matters (Martin v.
Town; EDG v. Town) and other matters covered by the attorney-client privilege
(handling of FOIA requests) as defined by the SC Freedom of Information Act, SC Code
Section 30-4-70. Council will meet with Town Counsel, Pete Balthazor.
Note: If Executive Session is requested for specified information Pursuant to Section 30-
4-70 of the South Carolina Code of Laws, action may not be taken by council in execu-
tive session. If action is taken, it shall be announced and voted on during the public
meeting only.
