Elloree Connect – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of Elloree Connect. By creating an account, logging in, or opting in to notifications, you agree to these Terms.

| 1 | Purpose of Elloree Connect | Elloree Connect is a public information and notification platform used to share Town of Elloree notices, calendar updates, and other informational announcements. The platform is intended for informational purposes only and is not used for commercial marketing or advertising. |
| 2 | Platform Provider | Elloree Connect is a software product developed, provided, and maintained by Weatherford Internet Consulting for use by the Town of Elloree. Weatherford Internet Consulting provides the platform “as is” and does not guarantee uninterrupted access, availability, or message delivery. |
| 3 | Eligibility | Elloree Connect is available to residents, property owners, and individuals who voluntarily choose to receive public information from the Town of Elloree. Users affirm that the information they provide is accurate to the best of their knowledge. |
| 4 | Account Registration and Access | Certain features may require account registration or login credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for all activity associated with your account. The Town of Elloree may suspend or disable access for misuse, unlawful activity, or false information. |
| 5 | Text Message and Email Notifications | Users who opt in may receive text messages and/or emails related to public notices, calendar events, and time-sensitive community information. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply for text messages depending on your mobile carrier. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text message or by using the unsubscribe link provided in emails. Opting out does not affect access to town services or public records. |
| 6 | Appropriate Use | You agree not to attempt unauthorized access, interfere with platform operations, submit false or misleading information, or use Elloree Connect for unlawful purposes. Elloree Connect is provided solely to receive official Town of Elloree information and updates. |
| 7 | Service Availability and Third-Party Dependencies | Elloree Connect relies on third-party services, which may include internet service providers, hosting infrastructure, email delivery services, and mobile carriers and messaging networks. Due to these dependencies, message delivery and platform availability are not guaranteed. Messages may be delayed or fail for reasons outside the control of the Town of Elloree or Weatherford Internet Consulting. |
| 8 | No Guarantee of Delivery | While reasonable efforts may be made to send notifications promptly, the Town of Elloree and Weatherford Internet Consulting do not guarantee the reliability, timeliness, or successful delivery of any text message or email notification. You should maintain alternate ways to stay informed, including reviewing official town postings and updates. |
| 9 | Privacy | Contact information collected through Elloree Connect is used only for official Town of Elloree communications. Information is not sold, rented, or shared for commercial purposes. |
| 10 | Limitation of Responsibility | Weatherford Internet Consulting assumes no responsibility or liability for missed or delayed notifications, service outages, technical failures, third-party service disruptions, or user device, carrier, or connectivity issues. The Town of Elloree and Weatherford Internet Consulting are not liable for damages arising from reliance on Elloree Connect notifications. |
| 11 | Supplemental Tool and Official Notice Disclaimer | Elloree Connect is a supplemental communication tool provided for convenience only. The Town of Elloree continues to publish official notices through legally required methods. Official notices are always available and may be reviewed or retrieved in person at Town Hall. Text and email notifications sent through Elloree Connect are not guaranteed and may be delayed or fail due to third-party systems. Elloree Connect notifications should not be relied upon as the sole source of official town notices. |
| 12 | Changes to the Service or Terms | The Town of Elloree or Weatherford Internet Consulting may update, modify, or discontinue Elloree Connect or these Terms as necessary to maintain operations or comply with applicable laws. Updated Terms will be posted where Elloree Connect is made available. |
